ESSENTIAL OILS

Essential Oils have been used by the ancients for thousands of years for medicinalpurposes as well as cosmetic. Cleopatra used essential oils in her beauty routine daily, and Egyptian mummification processes used specific oils such as , myrrh, camphor, beeswax, pine trees and fir for their drying and anti- bacterial properties.

Modern naturalists use these same essential oils in skin care today. There are 4  essential oils that when used on the skin rebuild and restore function naturally.

These oils have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, renewal , restoring and calming effects on the skin. No matter what your skin concern is, these oils can help balance and improve overall skin function.

When using essential oils always mix them with a “carrier oil” such as a  cold pressed vegetable oil or base oil such as coconut, vitamin E, apricot, safflower,  flax or jojoba.
